Senior Biologist
(Wildlife/Waters)
Senior Biologist (Wildlife/Waters Monitoring), Barstow CA Office

BRC-Equals3 is currently seeking applicants for one or more fulltime senior-level biologist positions to be based in our Barstow, CA offce. Applicants should have at least 2 years of related experience and possess a solid understanding of the natural resources of southern California (wildlife, plants, habitats, including threatened and endangered species). Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in biology or a related professional subject. We are particularly interested in waters monitors, botanists, and wildlife biologists with direct experience with southern California special-status species. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are a must. Experience with CEQA/NEPA and project management preferred. Other requirements include having an acceptable driving record, being physically capable of hiking and the rigors of fieldwork, an ability to work independently, and good interpersonal communication skills. Applicants should currently reside in southern California or be willing to relocate.

BRC-Equals3 is currently seeking a staff biologist in Orange County, California. Desert Tortoise experience preferred but not required. Applicants should have at minimum a degree in biological sciences, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to take detailed field notes and follow established protocols, skills in map reading and GPS devices, and a willingness to spend long periods of time working outdoors, sometimes in remote areas. A driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
