SCE Transmission Line Rating Remediation (TLRR)

BRC-Equals3, Inc., is excited to announce that over the next two years we will be conducting biological surveys and project-wide jurisdictional delineations for the Arcadis team in support of the SCE TLRR Licensing Project. This project involves engineering, conducting environmental analyses for the PEA, and providing licensing support services for five TLRR projects, which together cover approximately 600 miles of transmission line. Some lines included in these projects were built more than 100 years ago!
More updates to come soon once the project is underway.

Ojai Valley Land Conservancy (OVLC)

BRC-Equals3, Inc., in partnership with the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy (OVLC), has been involved in ongoing biological monitoring for an invasive plant removal project along the San Antonio Creek (Ventura River Watershed). The OVLC intends to target giant reed (Arundo donax) for removal from the lower end of the San Antonio Creek to its confluence with the Ventura River near Rancho Arnaz. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), Spanish broom (Cytisus scoparius), tamarisk (Tamarix sp.), and castor bean (Ricinus communis) will be secondary targets for removal. B3’s responsibilities include conducting rare plant and nesting bird surveys, conducting clearance surveys, monitoring for red-legged frog and steelhead trout, submitting daily reports, coordinating with the construction crews, and writing the project report.
